BS Style Note, Vol. 1 — The Cardigan Edit
ISSUE 1 BS STYLE NOTE FEBRUARY
CARDIGANS (YES, REALLY)
I know.
Cardigans don’t sound exciting. I didn’t believe it either.
But once I stopped wearing them the boring, obvious way… I kinda couldn’t stop. And now here we are, making a whole Style Note about them.
This one’s about cardigans and the tiny styling tweaks that make them feel cool, effortless, and very much not what you’re picturing in your head. We show it all in the video, but here’s how I actually think about it when I’m getting dressed.
-
A cardigan over a plain white tee is one of my favorite low-effort moves. Toss it over your shoulders or wear it open - either way, it instantly makes the outfit feel more intentional. Like you thought about it for a second… but not too long.
That balance is everything.

-
The duster cardigan is where things really change. I throw one over denim shorts all the time because it makes the outfit feel styled instead of random. It adds movement, it layers easily, and it works for those weird in-between weather days when you don’t want a jacket but still want something.
This is that something.

-
Printed cardigans? Keep the rest of the outfit simple. I’m talking all white, neutral base, no competing pieces. Let the cardigan be the moment. It’s the easiest way to look put together without stacking accessories or overthinking the whole thing.
Minimal effort. Maximum payoff.

-
Honestly, cardigans are just one of those pieces I keep reaching for. Easy on, easy off, and they somehow make everything feel more finished.
So yes, we’re officially pro-cardigan - just not the boring version.
Scroll the photos, watch the video, steal the ideas, make them your own.
